Here at The Wild Workplace, the focus is on developing leaders, teams and key individuals in Well-Being and Mental Toughness. We seek to create sustainable self belief. We are specialists in Well-Being and Mental Toughness people development. Our style is biophilic/natural and provocative. We constantly seek to work with original minds and creative thinkers. MT is a crucial and learnable personality trait. We all have it inside us but it needs developing to keep us safe, focused and strong. Well-Being is a complex pattern of developing relationships overtime and the concert of interaction.
As a Business Psychologist, I specialise in developing people to learn for a world of new and tough realities (VUCA – Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambigious). I have many years of professional experience from an eclectic learning and development arena, providing a wealth of knowledge and perspective. My career positions have included; National Training Manager, Leadership Trainer, Head of Learning and Development and Public Affairs Specialist.
I have a Master’s Degree in Training and People Development, a Social Psychology Degree, advanced coaching and NLP Master Practioner accreditations. I also hold a Psychometric European User Licence with the BPS and have memberships with The British Psychological Society, The Association for Business Psychology, The Association for Coaching and hold ILM and ISM fellowships.
My passion is focused on developing Well-Being and Mental Toughness throughout all organisations at all levels. MT and Well-Being are vital and pivotal elements in this complex and volatile world. My passion for the outdoors and walking the Lakeland Fells and Yorkshire Dales is included in elements of my training and coaching. The great outdoors is an environment where physical space tugs at the heart, fitness, and challenges the mind. This often translates into my unique coaching and training approach where clean thinking, mindfulness and physical exhilaration provides powerful motivation. I help develop meaningful behavioural change skills, handle pressure and improve self-management of challenge. The Wild Workplace is provocatively different, developing leaders, talented people and restless minds outside their comfort zones.
